Money Heist is a Spanish television heist crime drama series. It re-cut the series into 22 shorter episodes and released them worldwide, beginning with the first part on 20 December 2017, followed by the second part on 6 April 2018.
Storyline:-
It involves eight robbers, code-named after cities and led by the Professor from an external location. The story is primarily focused on one of the robbers, Tokyo, as they battle with hostages on the inside and the police on the outside.

Based on a True Story?
The short answer? No, but there are aspects of the show that take inspiration from history. As we learned in season one, the robbers disguise themselves on duty with masks that resemble the liking of Spanish artist Salvador Dalí, who famously sported an exaggerated mustache.

The Antwerp diamond heist, dubbed the “heist of the century”, was one of the largest robberies in history. Thieves stole loose diamonds, gold, and jewellery valued at more than $100 million. It took place in Antwerp, Belgium, during the weekend of 15–16 February 2003.
